Saturday I went back to Norrebro - which is really cool district in Copenhagen. Very trendy. Ate shawarma (food of the gods) and went back to the Donut Shop from when I got my tattoo. I also slept for awhile because you know...night clubs til 5am can be kind of exhausting...

Sunday I visited Kronborg Slot - also known as Hamlet's Castle to Shakespeare lovers. The dungeons in that place were so creepy and awesome. There were even crystals growing on the walls due to calcite precipiatation. I learned a lot about the royal Danish families while I was there.

Monday I walked arout A LOT. I started at the Botanical Gardens, then saw the Black Diamond, Dome of Visions and went to Freetown Christiana (weed is legal there, and you will get aggressively confronted if you dare take out your phone for a picture). Also stopped by the Post & Tele Museum. Christiana was so interesting...it had such a weird vibe to it. I would definitely go back, but next time I think I'd rather go with a friend then by myself. I spent the night at Tivoli with my friend and enjoyed a beer. Good way to end my last night here in Cope.

And today...I went to the Glass Markets to have smorrebrod for lunch, followed by a trip to Amager Strand Beach. It's amazing how little noise pollution was at the beach, even with the wind turbines and the airport not too far away. The water was unpolluted and clear. In the afternoon I went to the Dansk Jodisk Museum, which was absolutely incredible. The museum had a special exhibit featuring how Denmark was able to save 99% of their Jewish population from perishing in the Holocaust. It's a beautiful story and definitely uplifting to know that this little country made such a difference to the people I share a religion with. A great deal of gratitude is owed to Sweden for taking in the Jewish-Danish population and keeping them safe until the Nazi Regime no longer occupied Denmark.
