Day 1

Cope was gloomy today! That's okay though. Walking around and seeing the general area where I'm staying was great. There are so many cafes and shops - however all of them were closed today because of the holiday. My roommate and I stopped at a nearby park where the Gumball 3000 was happening...It was pretty interesting. From what I understand, Gumball 3000 is a rally and race for racecars. Everyone gathered on a giant lawn in the park, which was surrounded by large historic buildings. Inside the actual park were racecars for people to view.

Fun fact: THE SHOWERS ARE MADE FOR SHORT PEOPLE!

I have never felt so height aware in my life.
